A Fresh Look for a Stronger Future

We’re excited to share the unveiling of CCVAA’s new logo and refreshed brand identity. While our mission remains unchanged, our new look reflects the energy, growth, and collaboration that continue to define our work across California.

The vibrant hues of blue and green were intentionally chosen to represent the values at the heart of victim advocacy. Blue symbolizes trust, stability, and justice—the foundation of our partnerships within the criminal justice system. Green represents hope, healing, growth, and resilience, reminding us that every interaction with a victim or survivor has the potential to foster healing and empowerment. Together, these colors reflect the compassionate, trauma-informed approach that advocates bring to communities every day.

As we continue expanding training opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting victim service professionals statewide, our new brand serves as a visual reminder of our commitment to innovation while honoring the important work that has always defined CCVAA.

As a reminder, we hope you’ll join us at our upcoming Annual Meeting in August at the CDAA Conference to hear organizational updates, connect with colleagues from across the state, and help shape the future of our association.

As CCVAA continues strengthening its governance and returning to full compliance with our bylaws, only member agencies with current annual dues will be eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting. Membership dues are a condition of membership and are essential to maintaining the financial health of our association, allowing CCVAA to continue providing high-quality training, advocacy, and statewide support for victim service professionals. If you are unsure of your membership status, please contact us before the meeting to ensure your voting privileges are active.

Finally, if you haven’t already, please encourage all staff to activate their CCVAA Learning Management System (LMS) accounts. The LMS is your gateway to course registration, training resources, certificates, and future professional development opportunities. Creating an account now will ensure you’re ready to take advantage of new content as it becomes available.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for the work you do every day to support California’s victims and survivors. Together, we are building stronger advocates, stronger communities, and a stronger future.
